New deep learning methods for large-scale and multi-study cardiovascular image analysis

We offer an exciting position at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, as part of the euCanSHare H2020 project for developing algorithms and tools for large-scale and multi-study image segmentation, quantification and quality control in cardiology.

We are seeking candidates with a PhD in an area pertinent to the project and experience in deep learning, medical image segmentation, machine learning, cardiac imaging, software development, programming using C++/Python and/or medical image analysis.

The successful candidate is expected to be able to organise his/her work with minimal supervision and prioritise work to meet deadlines of the project. Due to multiple collaborations within the euCanSHare project with consortium partners from Europe and Canada, advanced oral and writing English knowledge are required.
